VLC Video On Demand
Run the following script on linux. start_stream.sh
It will ask you to name the stream and then enter the file path. Changeing the port is optional.
keep the terminal open, if you close it the video server will stop running. You can open more then one video on demand server at a time, just run the script from another terminal. Make sure you change the port number or it won't work.

On the VLC client, enter the following into Open Network Stream: rtsp://192.168.1.3:8554/BigBuckBunny change the ip address and filename to match your setup.
